Washer earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Missouri / Columbia before entering the United States Air force for four years. Upon leaving the USAF he began teaching Philosophy and other disciplines in the greater Kansas City area, including eleven years for Park University and twenty for Longview Community College.
