Jim D. Deuchars is an American poet from Waukesha, WI. His work has appeared in a variety of print and online journals. He has released over a dozen books of poetry, including Mockingbirds Contemplating Semicolons (Kung Fu Treachery Press, 2020). Dismissive of the tribalism that divides the various schools and cliques of contemporary poetry, Deuchars embraces a wide variety of style, technique, and wordplay to craft poems that resonate equally in academic and outsider circles. Mixed with a generous portion of humor, this results in work that has been described as, “a special brand of doggerel, nonsense & foofaraw.”
