Patricia Traxler is the author of five poetry collections, including the 2019 Kansas Book Award winner, Naming the Fires, and of a novel, Blood, and a short story collection, In the Skin. She has twice been named Bunting Poetry Fellow at Radcliffe, and has read or served as resident poet at many other universities, including Ohio State, Harvard University, Kansas University, the University of Montana, and Utah State. Her work has appeared widely in print, including in The Nation, The Boston Review, Agni, Ploughshares, Ms. Magazine, New Letters, The Los Angeles Times Literary Supplement, Slate, and in the anthology Best American Poetry. Her novel, Blood (St. Martin's Minotaur), was also published in Spanish, German, and Swedish translations and in an Ireland/UK edition.
