Timothy Tarkelly is a poet and educator from Southeast Kansas. His work has appeared in Words and Whispers, The Red Lemon Review, and As It Ought To Be Magazine. He’s published several books of poetry including A Horse Called Victory (Kelsay Books), Objects We Know We Don’t Deserve: Poems on Dutch Art (Alien Buddha Press), On Slip Rigs and Spiritual Growth (OAC Books), Luckhound (Spartan Press), and others. He recently collaborated with Elena Samarsky, a Ukrainian visual artist, on a work of paintings and poems entitled All Other Forms of Expression (OAC Books). When he’s not writing, he teaches English and Speech to students who are much more talented than he is.
